Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Your safari begins with a drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, taking
approximately four hours. After enjoying a picnic lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive,which offers excellent opportunities to view wildlife.The park lies beneath the towering Rift Valley escarpment, providing a dramatic backdrop for the lake. The forested areas are home to playful monkeys, while elephants often gather in shaded areas.Other wildlife commonly seen includes zebras, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, and numerous bird species. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge or campsite.
Day 2: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival at the crater rim,descend approximately 2,000 feet to the crater floor for a half-day game drive.Ngorongoro Crater is renowned for its rich wildlife population and is one of the best places to see black rhinos. Visitors may also encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and various antelope species. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before returning to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel from Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive across the park’s endless plains.The Serengeti is one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations and is home to the largest
concentration of plains game in the world. In the evening, check in at your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend the day exploring Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.The name “Serengeti” means “endless plains” in the Maasai language, and the park is famous for its vast open landscapes and abundant wildlife. Predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs,and hyenas are frequently seen, along with large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles.The park is also known for the annual wildebeest migration between the Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara. Numerous bird species can also be spotted, including eagles, flamingos, ducks,geese, and vultures.Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Serengeti – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third-largest national park and an important sanctuary for large elephant herds.The park is known for its iconic baobab trees and the Tarangire River, which attracts a wide variety of wildlife. Visitors may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, and thousands of elephants gathering along the riverbanks.After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive before checking in at your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Tarangire – Arusha
After an early breakfast, embark on a final morning game drive as you depart Tarangire National Park.You will then travel back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, arriving in the afternoon in time for your onward flight. Alternatively, you may be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
