Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, which takes approximately four hours. Upon arrival, enjoy a picnic lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive — one of the best times to observe wildlife in the park.As you approach from the eastern side, the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment forms a breathtaking backdrop to the lake. The lush groundwater forest is home to playful monkeys
moving through the treetops, while elephants are often seen resting in the shade nearby.
Other animals commonly spotted include zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, hippos, and
numerous bird species. After the game drive, check in for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge or campsite.
Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park with a scenic drive that takes approximately three to four hours. Along the way, you may visit Olduvai Gorge, a renowned archaeological site where some of the earliest human fossils were discovered.
The area features dramatic landscapes formed by the geological forces that created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, enjoy your first game drive before heading to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. With a
packed picnic lunch, venture deep into the wilderness for an extensive game viewing
experience.The Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in the world. Visitors may encounter lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of antelope roaming freely across the plains.In the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a
game drive within the famous Ngorongoro Crater.The crater is one of the best places in Tanzania to see the endangered black rhino. It is also home to large prides of lions, including impressive black-maned males. Other wildlife found here includes flamingos, a variety of water birds, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, antelope species, andmany small mammals.Later in the afternoon, proceed to your campsite or lodge near the crater for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the crater for a final game drive across the crater floor,which supports a rich diversity of wildlife including the Big Five.Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the scenic picnic sites within the park before departing in the afternoon. You will then travel to Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport for your onward flight, or continue to your hotel in Moshi for an overnight stay.
